Summer
Baseball is different from the regular season. The largest
difference is that all teams are divided by age and skill level.
- Summer baseball is a travel league, with half of the games being played around the greater South Shore area, not just Braintree. tournament teams that advance, can be playing further distances depending.
- The
most skilled players are voted (by coaches) on to the three tournament teams
and compete in the Babe Ruth tournaments for a possible prize of the National
Babe Ruth Championship.
- ·All
players that sign up for summer baseball will be placed on a Braintree team as part of
the MetroSouth Baseball league.
Hard cut off date

Babe Ruth must enforce a hard cut-off date of June 11th
for signups. If you do not sign up by June 10th, your son or daughter
will not be playing summer baseball!
Fees: The Registration fee is $150.00
